The Canadian history of its aboriginal people and Eskimos

The word Eskimo translated means “eater of raw meat”. Although Eskimo is an American Indian word scientifically Eskimos are believed to be from North Asian Decent.

Eskimos originally came from a land bridge which is no longer exists which stretched from Asia into northern America. Because of this it allowed Eskimos to travel and spread across the continents arctic regions and they eventually came to settle in four countries, these being Greenland, The Soviet Union, Alaska and Canada.
